John, <<Kerry or KJ. Do you think the Sequent/Brocade relationship influenced the IBM decision?>> I think it is one factor, an important one. IBM needs a stronger presence in the unix server world. They can't afford SUN or HP. Sqnt is cheap and quite good, I must say. Their FC implementation was somewhat proprietary as I recall. I don't know if they have changed and is now more conform to the standard. << Are OEM camps forming?>> I believe it is, loosely, not very tight, i.e. I can see Ancor has both SUN and HP while SUN and HP are archrival and yet working together on some similar platforms.
