QCOM uses whoever is cheapest and best service for the OMNI sats. They use so many and they change from time to time for service reasons. Last time I saw the list they only had GE service and had signed up for a mong term contract with them, but then this was like 1993...

I am saying that the present OMNI cannot use the G* stuff, so the two systems cannot be used with a the same Sat. However if they want to add equipment to the OMNI system in the form of G* parts, then they can use the G* stuff as another over the air interface for the system to use. I believe that in the future, they would use it, as well as land based cellular if those AI's meant a better service and a cheaper means of delivering messages.
