Calgary, Alberta - FINAL COMMISSIONING
COMPLETE

Mr. Jim Norrie, President of United
Industrial Services Ltd., is pleased to
announce that the Company's new Silica
Sand Plant is fully operational. The
plant is operating at designed capacity
and is located 4 kilometers north of
Peace River, Alberta. The plant design
incorporates the latest, proven
technology and is Alberta's first Silica
Sand Plant capable of manufacturing frac
sand and glass sand. The process is
basically an extraction, washing,
sizing, sorting and drying process.

The Company will focus their marketing
efforts initially on the Canadian oil
and gas industry, the glass industry,
the foundry industry, the sand blasting
industry and the recreational sand
industry. Later, the Company will expand
its product line to include the high-end
glass industry, the fiber optics
industry, sodium silicate, paints,
cement, and the medical industry. Now
that the deposit is under production and
the plant is operating, it is
anticipated that secondary industry will
be attracted to Peace River, Alberta
and/or western Canada by companies that
consume silica sand as a raw material.

The silica sand deposit is the purest in
North America and has a proven and
inferred industrial mineral base of 48
Million Tonnes and a probable reserve
base of 200 Million Tonnes or 200+ years
of production.
