I know there are people here who think that AAPL has major problems/issues and have been talking it down (due to graphics/publishing, etc.) - or at least being lukewarm on it.
However, I firmly believe that Quicktime is a killer...and they'll make money on it rather than sell it.
I also believe that AAPL has successfully transformed itself from the "other" computer maker into a viable, and powerful, alternative.
Obviously, working w/LINUX would be important. Creating alliances w/other non-Wintel computer makers (Microworkz) and services (AOL) would add value to what they have already accomplished.
I also think a foray into the Wintel world (possibly by purchasing a smaller Wintel rival) would benefit them.

All in all, however, it is clear that AAPL is setting the stage to soar...Just like ORCL fooled its detractors, so is AAPL.
