james, I haven't been able to get into etrade all morning and now in the afternoon. Fortunately, I have been reducing my holdings at that brokerage and using my alternative online brokerages. etrade has had ample time to get their programming and servers up to handle the demand; can you imagine if your internet connection company operated like etrade? they would be out of business; could happen if etrade can't meet demand, let alone exceed expectations. I know you are a long time believer in etrade, but having been a paying customer - I won't be needing them pretty soon. Good luck, Jacalyn
