Insider selling after a so so quarter and a depressed stock price makes a lot people, including myself, wonder whether this quarter is going to be a major dissapointment. ASND has experienced some insider selling but they haven't dissapointed so far and the stock price hasn't fallen nearly as much as CSCC. The same applies to CS. What I do not understand is why CSCO and 3COM are going up despite warnings of slower growth. CSCO has undergone a serious cost cutting effort so there will be less room to increase earnings and maintain a 21-23% net margin in a slowing sector with increasing competition at the low end. The real test about whether a recovery in the network sector is underway will be tomorrow.
