Greg, Vlad (yahoo!) posted the bond information. At this point, I can see that some bond holders might cover some of the short position. My intuition (and I'm very mathematical) is that there is an optimum ratio of short shares for a bond price, and a given time premium. Given that the time has eroded, and the shares are double their lowest price, the ratio of short shares has probably decreased. I expect there are little computer models to determine the optimum hedge. You guys have convinced me- some of the bond holders are covering a portion of their short positions. It's all part of MRVC looking viable again. Still risky, but the panic is out of it. IMO. Web
