Sorry, Looks like there was a little mess up in the translation. there was an article in the Kurier Independent news paper for Austria About The Audi V8-3.3-TDI Then underneath that article was an article on Dr. Peter Hofbauer who is leading the development of the New "Electric assisted turbocharger" with Turbodyne and Allied signal and how this Turbocharger has caught the interest of the TDI developers because it eliminates Turbo lag, which is still noticeable in todays TDI motors. It goes on to say the Elec. assisted turbocharger improves cold starting Lowers NOx emissions and the price is not more expensive than the variable Turbine configuration and allows for the elimination of several sensors and glow plugs... Sorry for the mix up but it is still positive news...
