You don't want to pay for those units that you plan on trimming. If Dell were to buy Cpq, they would want to negotiate a price exclusive of the units to be cut.

Stock Bull

PS: As far as the stock is concerned. When the Street loses interest in a company, nothing much happens with the stock. That's exactly what we are seeing at this time. If the 50% growth returns, we'll see the stock jump. If the growth doesn't return, and stays at 30 to 40%, the stock won't do much as the pe is adjusted downward.
