"Documentation"... well that might be a little difficult don't you think? Particularly since there was no hall of records at the time. If read it in a history book then thats good enough for me. There is an article on it in the Atlantic monthly, I have the hard copy and can't locate the online version but will continue to look. Here is the sister article but its not the one I wanted (sort of close though). Apparently women prepared herbal mixtures and went out to these huts where only women were allowed and recovered there.
