Neocon,

Don't get me wrong. Some of these tribes deserved
the "treatment". Consider the Aztec Nation. At the
time of the landing of Cortez at Veracruz in 1508,
the Aztecs were a loose confederation of almost 11
million people. With 508 troops, Cortez was able to
eventually subdue the most powerful nation in the new
world. Who really sheds tears for the Aztecs? This
culture practiced slavery, human sacrafice, cannablism,
and raped and pillaged like nobody's business. In fact,
one reason why Cortez was able to take Monectezoma or
"Montezuma" as the Spanish called the King, was that
many of these tribes under Aztec control hated them
and were very willing to help. The smallpox epidemic
during the battle for control of the empire sealed the
fate of Monectezoma and his empire.

As for the rest of the tribes, the US Cavalry took care
of most of them. What can I say? I'm living the good
life because the land got cleared of the Injuns here in
California. I am no hypocrit. If the US Federal Government
had not blown them away, I wouldn't have what I got now.
