Just a few other thoughts..
Wind is the leader in a market that is expected to grow very strongly, and unless I read something wrong, they are growing market share while competitors are loosing share. What are Wind's main fears, competition from Windows CE, and roll your own? My understanding of Windows CE is that it is not that great, buggy and cpu intensive. As for "roll your own", as it was explained to me on this thread, since wind has opened up the way it licenses it's stuff, and is providing the needed support that many businesses have a hard time getting internally, there isn't a lot of motivation for companies to want to "roll thier Own".

Note, since I'm not a tech person, please feel free to add or clarify were I may not be quite correct.
