Steve, the phrase tough love and HO HO HO comes from da Grim aka Bateman who used to taunt the forever bears on the MU thread - I think he is funny. With respect to my extremely bearish outlook -I just call it like I see it I can't make the market do what I want to or think it should. I study market history and recognize the fact that history repeats or at least it rhymes. The biggest booms are followed by the biggest busts - a simple historical fact. Everytime new era talk or it's different this time becomes vogue the market has reached a top of historic proportions. The public has been set up for a shearing by those who should know better but choose to keep the orgy going allowing greater excesses to build resulting in a longer and more severe bust. The bears have gone to great lengths to make their case and educate those who are willing to learn but to little avail. I encounter many highly educated people who cannot think independently and prefer to be part of the crowd. When the bears are proven right there will be some feeling of satisfaction for being able to foresee the collapse of one of history's biggest bubbles -I think that is a natural human emotion not some sadistic bent. If I could abolish death and poverty I would. Mike
