Read story yesterday about a Quick-Cell Wireless internet system that can be deployed in a week or less. It is being launched by IMC. Tried to copy the article to this post but unsuccessful. I'm pretty inexperienced in this area. The article goes on to say that IMC manages the equipment, which uses the 900- or 2,400-MHz bands and charges the ISP a monthly licensing fee. It wants to challenge other providers like ATHM,etc. This was news listed for ATHM in my broker account. Would love some discussion on whether this type of wireless access is a real threat.
