dolfan-- they sold it because it was an asset from DEC that hadnt been figured into the stock price. as for their core business, i dont really see where CS would fit in. believe it or not, IT managers really do like one stop shops... in the areas in which they want them. CSCO for networking equipment, CPQ for enterprise servers and DELL for PCs. having one vendor doing your entire technology architecture would be anathema to them. good luck to all, trey
