Hi Bill, Motorola rolled out their "Piano" version Bluetooth in one of their palm units this past January. MOT's vision is that you walk into a restaurant or bar, sit down and order cocktails, and then dinner from your table with their palm device, and then later on pay the bill with it too. Isn't that special? Security isn't much of an issue there, if it's only a matter of you getting the wrong drinks delivered to your table, I suppose.
Getting back to the potential for a conflict between CDMA and BT, it appears that many of the bases have been covered for peaceful coexistence. Many of the big time potential CDMA vendors are a part of the BT special interest group, or SIG, already. Ericcy, QCOM, and others.
I can see where a QCOM pdQ telephone or other device may also do local sync and file ports through their own proprietary protocols, like the PDq feature set, but they also appear to be ready to support multivendor porting through BT at some point, as well.
