I think you may have jumped a little too early with your SPIP. From a technical trading stand point ETN looks strong right now. If you look at the following chart Yep, it is looking strong, and I may have jumped the gun. I took a gamble on a slight pull back by any profit takers. That usually happens on several days up. Do you do any fund reallocations?
