Mark,
No you weren't acerbic (nice word) at all... I was just trying to make sure I remained civil... something aI don't always remember.
I know that you have a deep distrust for both JJ and J/L and you must have your reasons. I, however, haven't experienced what you have, so I can't truly asses the situation from your perspective.
I base my judgement regarding this management on only two things 1) The price of the stock 2) The quality and timeliness of delivering commitments.
As far as the stock price goes, I believe it was ~ $4+ when Jimmy was ousted. By the time he left, the investment community knew of the potential problems with claims he made, but let's say it still had a fair mkt value of $ 1.50/share. (the company also had ~ $ 2 mil in the bank.)
And as for news coming from our leaders. Well, I haven't seen anything worthy of newsprint for, well, it seems like years now.
There have undoubtedly been distractions coming from the Fr G issue, but still, work should have been going on. My belief is that despite the fact that a plan existed and very good results were being obtained with the pilot plant (per some release from the distant past), these guys have ** FAILED ** ..... end of story.
As for Fr Gregory's association with JJ, it appears as if both of these gentlemen do share a common thread. Perhaps they are both just large shareholders (along many others, judging by the ballot numbers) who also believe that it is time for the Bob Squad to move on and let someone else try to make it go. According to the Canadian legal system, JJ has been found guilty and punished for his wrong doings. As far as his association with Fr G, that is their business and I don't have any feelings either way on it.
I must say that I have never met or spoken with either JJ or Fr G. nor do have a qualm with either of the gentlemen.
I do know that anyone who puts forth so much energy to turn this company around has my support. and in my opinion, he can't do any worse of a job than we are currently seeing.....
Be well... Paul |
