If I am right, then Bob's call this week could be interesting. As I understand it, he will not make his call on the radio, but will do it in his newsletter first. Thus presumably he would hem and haw on the show, and then mail out his bear call newsletters, and then vanish from view until the newsletters come out. Then next week he would be bearish on the show. Is that the way everyone expects it would happen? >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Timing issues here may be very interesting. I would make a pure speculation that Bob might want to see the upcoming CIBCR inflation report for June along with the employment report that comes out on Friday. I'm not positive that the CIBCR comes out the same day but Lady Elaine usually posts her take on it at Garzarelli.com after they come out. Normally Bob would say he does his major review of his indicators on a weekly basis and since he does his show on the weekends this would mean theoretically the earliest his model could make a change would be on a Monday so he wouldn't be fully aware of a change on the weekend anyway. I would suspect however that at the moment his model may at such a critical position if we move to new highs that he may be monitoring it closely daily. Also the timing could be very interesting in that if we indeed hit new highs in the next few days and these reports are in on Friday I suspect he is not doing the show anyway next week due to the July 4th holiday. If then by Friday we can hit new highs and some of the relevant data comes in on Friday he would have the weekend to crunch numbers and not have to worry about frightened calls about a potential bear market. One major problem with this possible scenario is if he's off next weekend he may have plans to be out of town to be on a golf course at 5AM with BBjr before the desert heat sets in.<g>
