Sure James..you made it happen. Trying to lump HP and Sun in the same breadth as examples of declining Unix workstation sales is pretty pathetic and in line with your Microsoft PR Day Job. Sun has been shipping a record number of Workstations - at HP's expense - Having Sun own this market is a great proposition for Sun. Its not a surprise that HP, SGI and IBM are choosing to sell NT since they dont have to invest in creating technology anymore and can bludgeon each over the head with $500 "Workstations". As far as IDC's predictions - the fact is that Unix Workstation Revenue is Many times higher than NT today - showing where customers are putting there money.

If its Microsoft vs. Sun - so be it - theyll be the Coke and Pepsi of the next generation - but damned if they'll end up as RC Cola!

Any predications on Sun's earnings this quarter since your so good at predicting the past - how about taking a shot at the future?
