Going concern

I think I was the first to bring up the *possibility* of a "going concern" statement on the yahoo board. Since then there have been a number of posts. I was throwing out possibilities but believe it is a remote one in this case. This is because I believe we will only see a 2 to 3 cent loss this quarter and probably breakeven or slight profit for 1st quarter (not counting the sale of P4J of about 6.25 cents per share). On December 31 when ObjectShare had 1 million in debt on the revolving credit, they had 1.6MM of cash on hand. Other than some short term working capital which is less than their reported accounts receivable, they have no other debt. *If* they did not lose much in the last 6 months a going concern statement is unlikely.

If a going concern statement is issued it will have to be based on recognition that recent product revenues were largely upgrades and the the base license market is shrinking. Public accounts usually to not stretch that far for these purposes.
