This is great!! I have been a LINUX nut since 1991 and just found this thread tonight. I going to start reading from the top now. concentric.net Roddy... PS: Why would you want to 'create a single user interface'? Properly configured, X is a much better windowing environment. Remember, MS took it from MAC, and MAC took it from X. The only problem for LINUX now is the number of third party apps. and that is changing each and every day.
