Read the following resignation letter from one of the LA Technology Commissioners in favor of open access. For some reason, the Mayor of LA favors closed access but the LA Board of Information Commissioners do not agree. They were supposed to vote on open or closed access on June 21 but three of the five commissioners resigned because they wanted open access. opennetcoalition.org San Francisco votes on July 6. It looks like they will vote for open access.
