This probably is more than you wanted to hear but occasionally even I have to defend social science Yes, Tom, I think you gave an excellent explanation of how our economists presently view inflation. I don't agree with it, but I won't pursue it here. Wrong forum. The only problem I have with what is presently called "Social Science" is that it isn't Social, and it isn't Science, other than that, the name is fine! Before the year is out, I intend to start a thread called, "The Theory of Money", present the Theory, and defend it. I look forward to your ideas on this subject at that time.
