FAIRFAX, Va., June 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Datametrics® Systems Corporation's new Internet connectivity software tool, VisualRoute, has been selected by Ziff-Davis as a Finalist in the prestigious ZD Annual Shareware Awards. The awards ''honor the best PC-based shareware released or significantly upgraded in the past 12 months.''
According to the ZDNet, ''For the sixth year in a row, the Ziff-Davis Shareware Awards are proud to salute the work of the independent authors of the shareware industry. PC Magazine, Computer Gaming World, FamilyPC, ZDTV and ZDNet have teamed up to honor the year's best PC-based shareware programs. This year's winners will be announced on ZDNet on Thursday, July 22, 1999. Awards will be presented that day at the Shareware Industry Conference in Tampa, FL.
