Not enough takers at the current price, so it'll be extended. Man, something has to get going at NVE to give some support.

Wed 30 Jun 99 News Release
Mr. Patrick O'Brian reports
NovaWest Resources has extended, further to the Stockwatch report of May
31, 1999, the expiry date of the rights to purchase units consisting of one
common share and one-half of one common share purchase warrant of the
company issued to the company's shareholders of record on May 26, 1999,
from the current expiry date of July 7, 1999, to 4 p.m. on Aug. 1, 1999.
On May 26, 1999, the company's shareholders of record were granted the
transferable right to subscribe for units of the company at a subscription
price of 40 cents per unit. Each unit is comprised of one free-trading
common share and one half of one common share purchase warrant of the
company. The rights are evidenced by transferable rights certificates
registered in the names of the holders of the common shares of record and
were issued on the basis of one right for each common share held. Six
rights and the subscription price of 40 cents are required to subscribe for
one unit. The rights will now expire at 4:00 p.m. on August 1, 1999, and
each right carries the ability (by way of oversubscription privilege) to
subscribe at the subscription price for additional units provided the right
holder has exercised his or her rights in full. The rights offering is not
registered in the United States or in any jurisdiction in Canada other then
in the provinces of British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba and Ontario.
The rights are listed for trading on the Vancouver Stock Exchange and will
continue to be listed until 9 a.m. on the new expiry date of August 1,
1999.
