TO THREAD: I finished my Accounting final last night and was talking to the Prof. about the new e-commerce cirriculum. He brought up the news item this past week about the Merrill Lynch IPO of their online banking that went belly-up when three banks announce they were going into that business. It turns out he was talking about CKFR and the secondary. He was not aware that the secondary was canceled and he thought that was a class move to make. He also was left with the impression that the CEO knew about this announcement before commencing the secondary offering. Interested the impressions that the community takes away from this escapade. He further suggested that he would like to use this case as an example for a Business Ethics course he will be teaching. Any thoughts links or stories that anyone may wish to offer would be appreciated since I agreed to compile material for a case study. Thanks, Dave
