Lala..la..ladedada...

Hummmffph.... I think I've embarrassed myself enough....<vbg>

Anyway, I did some digging around this morning and last night trying to see how MSU can fill the niche for set-top boxes, if not here, then in the UK, Europe, and China.

Here's an interesting site I found outta of the UK.

lafferty.co.uk

That report is L1600 or 1400 in Euros... Do the conversion for yourself... <VBG> But what is clear is that a UK analytical company sees interactive TV as a means to bring a billion people onto the net by 2003.

Now the US is being penetrated by SFA, GIC, and WebTV/Phillips. Who is doing business in the UK??

Hmmmm... Who is best positioned to do business in the UK.

I future posts, I will try to go through the fabric of the UK market and I look forward to Delbert and yourself piping in with your comments and the companies you see who could most benefit from set-top box technology.

Most of us know about Freeserve and their free internet access.... but who are their competitors and up and coming services there who might want to off set-top boxes to THEIR customers as a means to gain a competitive edge over the big boys?? Companies who are feeling the pressure and need to do something dramatic in order to build that all-important market share...

Regards,

Ron
