RE: It rarely works out to 60% because in a diversified portfolio (of even just Web stocks) they never top out or bottom together. On the close 6/14, I was down 31%.

In addition, if you're long in a secular bull market like this one, and you are an investor and not a trader, you are never "down" until you sell a capital loss.

I recall that Buffet said "if you can't accept a 30% decline in your portfolio you have no business in the stock market."
