Neoware Systems Expands Internet Storefront and Debuts New Web
Presence at neoware.com

New NeoStation 2000 Models Now Available for On-line Purchase at Factory Direct Prices

KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 30, 1999-- Neoware Systems, Inc., (NASDAQ:NWRE - news), manufacturer of the award-winning NeoStation(TM) family of Windows-based terminals, today unveiled a new on-line presence with expanded options for ordering Neoware Windows-based terminals factory-direct via neoware.com.

Effective immediately, Neoware's enhanced on-line storefront, called the Neoware eStore, is offering a wider choice of models and options. Customers can now purchase the full line of NeoStation 2000 Windows-based terminal models, including NeoStation models incorporating Microsoft's Windows CE operating system. Neoware Windows-based terminals are priced from $399.

Neoware believes it was the first company to make thin clients available for purchase factory-direct via the Internet when it unveiled its original eStore in 1998. With today's enhancements, the company further raises the bar by making its complete line of Windows-based terminals, as well as more software and information available for customers on-line.

In addition to enhancing the availability of its terminals via its on-line eStore, Neoware has unveiled a new design for its web portal at
neoware.com. The new design allows customers to more easily find information about Neoware's products, download software directly, and purchase products on-line.

''Making our new NeoStation line of thin clients available for on-line purchasing from Neoware's eStore is one more way that we are offering maximum choice to our customers,'' stated Michael Kantrowitz, executive vice president of Neoware Systems. ''Now customers can purchase our full range of terminals on-line via a new portal which is easier to use and more informative. Of course, our customers also have the option to purchase Neoware terminals from an authorized reseller, or by phone at 1-800-NEOWARE.''

Neoware also announced today that it is promoting its new eStore and web presence through links from Thin Planet, located at
thinplanet.com. This site offers complete information about the thin client market, with news, opinion, training and locators for integrators and training for thin client deployments.

These initiatives reflect elements of Neoware's new growth strategy in the emerging market for Windows-based terminals. As previously announced, Neoware has recently embarked upon an aggressive communications campaign designed to highlight the company's leadership position within the market.
