lkj - WK, as a whole, is also mysterious.

Have you ever used MS Exchange? MS Exchange can be used over networks to coordinate schedules (i.e. appointments etc.), contact lists and e-mail between different users. It is somewhat like Lotus Notes. But Exchange (and Lotus Notes) both require wired networks to allow the user's client to talk to the server because they are bandwidth hogs. Thus, they cannot be used over a wireless network. This is the market that WK is addressing - they are attempting to thin down the connection between the client and server so that it will work on a wireless connection and they are making multiple versions of the client so that it will run on multiple platforms. They are also addressing the security issue inre allowing the client to communicate through the corporate firewall. The WK revenue stream will be generated not via sales of product, but via service costs and per minute fees as data is transmitted.

Hope this helps.
