Steve, I stand corrected. I meant it is not a portable player.
Here's a post from RB that makes good sense.

Lucent's EPAC + Lydstroms audio data base system = Home base for e.Dig music player not to mention an archiving system for legal and health industries, where e.Dig's other devices will perform.

Who cares if the music companies aren't putting out your style of downloadable music. Move your selection of CD to your Lydstrom system and pick and choose from that what you want traveling with you the next day.

Lydstom or something like it will also be used to archive commercial(hospital/legal) audio documents as well. (didn't I say that?)

As more and more news surface, the future is becoming more and more clear and will be dominated by the audio management appliances created out of demand for easier management and storage of analog/digital documents. This whole thing is just a crumb of the futuristic automated pie. Our stock is proportional to the "current" crumb of that pie.

It this stock doesn't go to 2.50 at the open then I'll eat my shorts. Oops, look at that, I'm a little late... but right.

Ok, let's see the other news.

I'm strapped in!
