Interesting little tidbit. The place where I work has a work van which uses r-12 in the A/C. The system needed a complete re-charge because the motor was replaced. The cost was $125 for the r-12 and $45 for the labor. Not cheap but also not as expensive as IMG claimed it would be. R-12 is still readily available. A/C mechanic told me he is having no trouble getting r-12 and that he has never heard of FRIGC. No surprises there. It's way past the time IMG should have shot this dying horse and put it out of its misery.
