Just a casual observation, MSFT appears to be more open to competition on the OS and traditional software front (its easy to be "competitive" once you are the market)but very aggressive in its moves into strategic relationships with broadband providers (most recently wireless,net appliances, multimedia content sources and other sources of potential wealth creation at the end of the enternet. Wouldn't you love to be a fly on the wall if Gates and McCaw ever had a dinner conversation. While I am here, do you have any thoughts on the new "BlueTooth" wireless LAN standard. Will it ever be compatible with CDMA cell phones and other mobile remote devices?
