Isn't this trading pattern similar to what happened before the MCI acquisition was announced (and for a period thereafter)? The stock took quite a hit but has obviously responded since then. I have been in WCOM as a result of an early investment in UUNET and I plan on being around for quite awhile. (Of course, details about whatever is causing this huge ripple would be nice. But then again, the small investor is ALWAYS the last to hear about material events.)
