FWIW, Lucent is a big buyer of chips from Vitesse Semiconductor for SONET, DWDM, and other communications products. I don't think BRCM competes in this space directly with Vitesse and the other heavy, PMCS-Sierra. I also don't think that Lucent has much of a presence in the cable modem market, but then again, I'm just going on my own impressions.
