I happen to love Datek. In fact I just moved a second account over there.

Why:

1) Datek is integrated with the Island ECN which means you get exceptionally quick fills.

2) The Datek Streamer application is addictive. It provides real time streaming quotes, bid and ask, volume, etc. for your stocks. There's no other free resource like it.

3) Great margin rates and maintenance requirements. Their maintenance requirement is 30% on most issues, and 50% for the more volitale Internet issues.
