colin/thread: Wash Transactions: I recently sold a stock at a loss (within 30 days). However, I would like to repurchase the stock without triggering a wash sale. If I purchase the same stock under an IRA account, would the wash sale rule be in effect or is this a way to go around the wash sale? TIA, Professor
