I admit that it may have been unintentional, although the possibility of dopiness one way (forgetting to declare) raises the possibility of dopiness another way (forgetting to hide or destroy the receipts)...either way, a punctilious payment of the fines and a demonstration of remorse ought to suffice.I certainly would be chagrined, even if it had been unintentional, and would want everyone to know that I was very sorry for having screwed up...
