You've got a bigger ax to grind because you're caught in a trade that you think needs to be righted. I don't have that as an issue, so I can objectively look at the issues.

There is so much good software out there that hit a bullseye for doing this, that it astounds me that Fidelity continues to maintain the NIH syndrome regarding building their own. (Not Invented Here...).

Take a look at www.naq.com
Take a look at www.tradescape.com
take a look at www.dtniq.com

I am sure that you could add to this list. It looks like they are designing this stuff in a vacuum. Where's the customer input? Where's the customer feedback? Where are the focus groups? In comparison to the competition for trading/investing dollars, Fidelity will leave millions on the table with grade C software approaches. People are going to gravitate to product that give them an edge, not take it away. It's hard enough in this business to trade efficiently, the complexity of this should not be compounded, it should be made easier.

There are some hot companies doing cool software for trading. Either Fidelity should strategic partner with these guys, or model their software design after trading and ergonomic paradigms that are proven to work.

I just don't get it...Maybe we're not supposed to.

Sorry....gotta run before the Fed releases. ATW just hung so I gotta reboot....<Geesh....>
