Ah heck Dwight satellite will eventually dominate everything including data. Now watch me get ripped on that comment! But I do believe several years down the road satellite will become very wide spread. But for the next few years 56k modems will be the mainstay with xDSL and Cable fighting it out. I do agree with you about the condition the cable companis are in, and they are going to have a hard time building infrastructure with not a lot of money. It confuses me the whole xDSL cable modem thing. Cable has the right price whereas the RBOC's have not commited to anything I would call affordable. I think over the next 6 months there will some shaking out and quite possibly we'll see some price breakthrough's on xDSL. I have openly stated that I absolutley hate both the RBOC's and Cable companies!

Hmmm, maybe RoboCom can get in with MSFT/BA and others in the satellite business!AS a usrx/coms investor I want to make money. As a internet user (who hates RBOC's and cable co's) I really don't want to deal with noisy phone lines or Cable companies that don't have a G Damn clue about customer service or anything else.
