Cambiex Exploration (CBX:TSE,ME) will purchase the Hope Bay gold properties in Nunavut from
Broken Hill Proprietary's (BHP:NYSE,ASX) diamond subsidiary, BHP Diamonds, by paying a total
of US $23.0 million over six years. The properties, which include the Boston, Doris Lake and Madrid
deposits, have an inferred resource of 4,281,000 ounces of contained gold. (June 29/99)
