Let's face it...Dell daily performance the last few days (given the Naz's overall strength) has been terrible! I figure it is due to 3 factors: (1) End of month selling- Since Dell performed poorly this quarter, funds don't want Dell showing up on their portfolio listing (as of end of June 30). Hopefully this means a few will buy back in next few days. (2) MD selling more shares- bogus, these are regular sales. (3) Dell reports in August, most other (tech) stocks in July...so many playing those stocks' run into earnings...we are still in 1st half of Dell's quarter.. Regardless it is disappointing...I can't remember the last time Dell so significantly underperformed the Naz (on the up or down side)... Good news is...that July should add ballast to all tech stocks...Dell should benefit as well....Also, good news in/around annual meeting should help too....... Fed saved a lot of rear ends today...especially those margin-laden Net holders...what a move today!
