Well, I just brought Number 3 Son out for a bit.

Now I have to decide between going back and playing cards or hitting the numbers to figger tomorrow.

Probably will do both, making dinner for us at the moment. Wife Number 1 is out.

Just have to justify leaving an 11 Year old alone.

Tough to do.

The Establishment today stresses that this is child abuse. 40 years ago, when we were left alone, we somehow made it out of this terror.

These days, kids can't be left alone for a second lest disaster strikes.

MEANWHILE, and get this, 4 kids decided to ride their bikes in front of me tonight as I was driving home. In the 50s, their mother would have gone nuts.....

Today? Well they must have the right to ride their bikes in front of a car!

Isn't this a contradiction? They cannot be left alone but riding bikes in traffic is just fine. It isn't the kids that are jackasses up here in the NorthEast. It's the people who came up with these laws. I have a 14 year old kid who probably could bust up a few 20 year olds. I leave him alone and I fear for the adult who tries to mess with him, no foolin'. The kid is 220, 6'3", and when he gets into High School they want him on the wrestling team. He works out with them now.

When did you ever see a 14 year old 6'3" 220# Killer? But I cannot leave him alone because he is defenseless against adults.

Duh.

Well, I have to go back to preparing raw meat. It's the fare of choice around here, later.
