Wacked the heck out of the albies on a 167 heading @ 50 miles with limits of fish. Four guys took home 60 pounds of fillets each. Started trolling at 7 am, first jig strike at 7:15, the hot jig a black/purple metal head with 6 holes in the front to create the aeration (forget what the name is). Hot spot, on a flat line right down the gut on the third wake, for all those guys that disputed my quote last month..... two guys got sick and refused to fish, meant three of us had to nail 25, between 18 and 25 pounds, they bait fish wouldn't take anything over 20 lb. test. Limited and ran 3 hours back up hill at 1:15 in the afternoon. Plenty of time after to ice the fish and then go talk about it with a cold one in the hand. The time is right, if you're not on the water you need to be!!@!!!
