Sherry ... you are utilizing the program just as it is intended -- combining the fundamentals and technicals together. That is wonderful that you are getting your niece involved. I use to work for my grandfather who owned a machine shop. He was a very avid trader and introduced me to the stock market. In fact, I traded some initial seed money he gave me and used that to pay my way through UVA. It was once I was introduced to the stockmarket that I new that this is what I wanted to do as a career -- not run a machine shop. I don't think my grandfather has gotten over that though! I just love this business. But enough about me. By the way, we are thinking about doing a four day cruise at the end of next June on one of the Disney ships. During the cruise we will teach a one day institute. Since a couple of people from DWA would be coming, while the adults are learning PnF we would hold a class on investing for kids. I have done a number of them for local schools using candy and different things to illustrate the laws of supply and demand and inflation, etc. Just in the planning phases but let me know if there is any interest.
