lawsuits if "frivolous" can hurt a stock. As soon as the basis for the lawsuit is filed, we should find out what the basis of the suit is! If viable, then people will speculate a compensation. That perceived "viable compensation level" will dictate the stock price.

how will they pay? payment shouldn't be an issue because there is no doubt the BC Government did "expropriate a property owned by Rock"! They expropriated it without suitable compensation! That compensation, if dispersed in the mid 1990's would have been a far smaller number than what is "owed" as fair compensation now.

I would suggest that "fair compensation" is "two" different numbers! One number is Rocks, the other number is the BC Governments. I feel there is no question that a "number" was presented to Rock, because some level of compensation is due.....they did take the property and "guaranteed swift and fair compensation"!! Well, it hasn't been swift or forthcomming.

So, in the end if a court has to determine a number, that number will include payment of court costs (IMHO) So its not if we get money, its never been that, its how much!!

And how long would the new suit take? 5yrs?

Embarrassing itself in the eyes of the BC public, is what this government has perfected. If Rock plays its cards right, they can show that the "kinder gentler BC government toward miners" approach is not working. The media may have a field day with this! If the claim has merit, then we should receive suitable support from "major mineing companies" in the industry...support that the BC Government would prefer not to see...because it elludes to the unfair treatment this government has been famous for!

We'll see.....remember, there are only two things that are for sure in life...death and taxes!<gg>

I'm guessing!
