Availability of DSL
I checked into DSL for my home. I live in Louisville, Colorado and have US WEST as my telephone company. They said that I was unable to receive the DSL service because of my phone lines. There are some really funny requirements (of which I don't recall) for DSL and it rules out a bunch of people from getting this service. Has anyone else run into this problem? What companies are in the process of developing a fix? Consequently I had to settle on wireless, ATEL the provider was bought out by Sprint, and the old 56K.

My point is that Broadband is great and all but it is no good if the technology leaves out a large portion of the population. Duh! I would be interested in the companies that are developing the technology to fix this type of problem.
