I would agree with this, if the "we" is amended to "many of us". But it should be noted that the presence of an innate religious impulse cannot be construed as evidence for the existence of God or the legitimacy of any individual religion. If those who need religion to survive are allowed to impose it on those who do not, we will be entering a grim time indeed. This is a far more likely proposition than the idea that atheists will impose their views on the religious; it does not take a microscope to observe that the religious among us are far more zealous about spreading their beliefs than the irreligious.
