Thanks for the quick response about Andersen. Now that I did the reseach with your ideas in mind, it's clear as mud. :)

From Siebel's proxy statement:

"George T. Shaheen, age 54, has served as a Director of the Company since October 1995. Since 1989, Mr. Shaheen has been the Managing Partner of Andersen Consulting. Mr. Shaheen has been a partner of Andersen Consulting since 1977 and held various other positions at Andersen Consulting from 1967 to 1977."

Two partners from Arthur Andersen Business Consulting's Integrated Customer Solutions (ICS) practice were quoted in the press release.

But the specific reference to becoming a Premier Consulting Partner was in the name, Arthur Andersen.

And to make sure I'm totally unclear about it, the last sentence is, "Arthur Andersen is a business unit of Andersen Worldwide."

Soooooooooooo,

Is it Arthur Andersen Worldwide that became the premier partner? Or is it Arthur Andersen? Or is it the Arthur Andersen Business Consulting's Integrated Customer Solutions (ICS) practice?

I might have been smart enough to invest in Siebel more than a year ago, but I'm not smart enough to figure this out. I think I better sell. :)
